If you’re one of the millions of Americans who tuned into what folks are calling a “disgrace” to the late R&B singer Aaliyah‘s memory, you can rest assured that executive producer, Wendy Williams is unbothered by the backlash! I didn’t get to catch the movie myself (work stuff, ya know), but the comments on almost every social media all boiled down to one thing: IT SUCKED! As a person who’s used to catching some shade, Wendy Williams had her mitt ready on Monday, as she responded to the haters on her talk show. “I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend. Errybody got an opinion,” she said during her “Hot Topics” segment of the show. Numbers talk more than haters, so Wendy had no problem in sharing that the Aaliyah film was among the highest rated programs on cable TV during the weekend. No matter how you slice it, Wendy got her duckets and the film was still a success. Take a look at a few of the slander from social media, and check out Wendy giving her final two cents in the video below!
