Paul McCartney is one of the many landmark musical guests that will be featured in Saturday Night Live‘s 40th Anniversary special which will take place on Sunday (yep, Sunday) February 15, 2015. Other musicians include fan favorites like Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and Paul Simon.

Most excitingly, comedian Eddie Murphy has announced that he will be making an epic return to the show after leaving the show 31 years ago in 1984. Murphy talked to media last week, saying, “It just never worked out where the timing was right for me to do it. . . They’re actually having a 40th anniversary I think. I’m going to that, and that’ll be the first time I’ve been back since I left.”

Other classic performers include everyone you’d remember and have been dying to see, from the new school (Andy Samberg, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey), to the old school (Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Steve Martin). Only the best of all the casts & past hosts will be returning, so viewers can also expect to see Jack Nicholson, Jim Carrey, Peyton Manning, Chris Rock, Garrett Morris, Andy Samberg, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short, Betty White, Emma Stone, Derek Jeter, Jimmy Fallon, Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Melissa McCarthy, Will Ferrell, Robert De Niro, Jerry Seinfeld, Molly Shannon and of course, Mike Meyers.

SNL‘s 40th anniversary will also be honored with “Saturday Night Live: The Exhibition,” an engaging exhibit that will take place at New York City‘s Premier On 5th exhibition center this spring. The exhibit will feature “original scripts, set pieces, props, costumes, masks and interactive elements” from legendary SNL sketches.
