As LeBron preps for his 11th season in the NBA, NIKE Basketball has prepared his coinciding signature sneaker. The Nike LeBron XI departs from the smoother cleaner lines of his past signature releases, and instead opts for a more jagged, but refined approach. Don’t let the hard look of it fool you,  it’s not only the lightest in the LeBron line, but it also presents a lower profile than past releases. Most of these changes can be attributed to the use of Hyperposite and Hyperfuse in the upper, but it also has a lot to do with the use of Lunarlon and Zoom for the cushioning. According the original Nike press release on the LeBron XI, the focus for the designers was to balance the duality of power and precision to mirror LeBron’s game. The Nike LeBron XI “King’s Pride” is set to release globally on October 12th for $200. Now who wants to buy me a 6 in Men?
