Watch Swift on FX‘s hit show Atlanta!

North Carolina-born, Swift a.k.a. Swiffa Baby is perched at the top of the music game ready to give the world a new musical energy. Swift’s dynamic stage presence paired with quick-witted lyrical content, is a rarity in hip-hop today. When meshed with melodic beats, hits are created. Swift is quickly climbing the charts with his single “Pull Up”. “I have a certain way of making music, I started off rapping and hardcore boom bap, where I am from that is what we do. I bring a piece of hip-hop and soul into the commercialism of music now,” explains Swift.

However, the road to success has not been easy for Swift. Prior to relocating to Atlanta, he was in other groups, he had local success and had a fan base in his hometown, Durham, North Carolina, however, once these groups disbanded, Swift knew it was time to change. Swift decided to relocate to Atlanta and embarked on a solo career, a decision that proved to be very wise. Swift’s network grew quickly in Atlanta as the industry was receptive to his style. Swift’s unique blend of old school hip-hop with a new school spin helped to differentiate Swift from other Atlanta artists. It also helped attract other notable artists that Swift has worked with or has features with including; 9th Wonder, Don Cannon, Drumma Boy, Maestro, Mike Will, No I.D, Shawty Redd, Sunny Digital, Jim Jones, Gorilla Zoe, August Alsina, DJ Nando, Brian Dawson and much more.

In 2010, Swift released a mix-tape called “2010”; and in early 2011, another called “Guns & Roses”; which featured appearances by artists: J. Holiday, Rocko, Slick Pulla and Yung Joc. Both mix-tapes were very successful. Swift released yet another independent project, The Yellow Tape.

Recently, Swift has been making his comeback recording an album and positioning his brand for commercial success, as the protege of EPIC Records executive, Chubbie Baby. With his single “Pull Up” climbing the charts, Swift’s anticipated full-length album is definitely something to watch out for.
