Fabolous takes on a whole new badass persona in his role for the new music video for “Lituation,” the first official single from “The Young OG Project”. Check out Loso Get LIT! in the 90s inspired visuals that reportedly also take after the cult classic gangster film, King of New York starring Christopher Walken and Wesley Snipes. Fab models himself after Walken‘s character, Frank White, who had planned to become the most successful drug lord New York had ever seen.

Directed by Gerard Victor, this video is definitely one of the most visually appealing releases to come from Fab in a while. Everything to the wardrobes, to the Brooklyn locations stay true and pay homage to the King of New York film, while the Mxlly the Mxrtian beat only adds to the classic New York street rap that this song embodies. Paul Cain as Jimmy Jump should be a favorite scene for many movie buffs and hip-hop heads.

About the album will serve as the follow-up to 2009’s Loso’s Way, which took inspiration from Carlito’s Way, another New York gangster film. Fab says, “The album is not really just telling a story, but it’s having a lot of fun. It’s very ’90s-inspired and themed, a lot of flips and beats from the ’90s are on there.” The Young OG Project will be available via digital retailers on Christmas Day.
