Rapper, Lil Wayne has officially filed a lawsuit against Cash Money Records co-founder, Birdman, and it is for a little more then the $8 million that has been circling through the tabloids.  According to TMZ between last night and this morning Wayne filed an official lawsuit against Birdman for a sky high number of $51 million.  The claims in the lawsuit state that Birdman breached the contract between himself and Weezy with the delayed release of Tha Carter 5 and also owes the label a little over $10 million.  Before Wayne started recording Tha Carter 5 in 2013 he was supposed to receive an $8 advance and then another $2 when the album was finished.  So far the rapper has seen none of that money.  Along with the $51 million settlement Wayne is also seeking freedom from the Cash Money label and also a wants to be made partial owner of all records the  Young Money label has produced.  This lawsuit is nowhere near over so stay tuned as more information surfaces!
