Uh- Oh Kobe Bryant takes a charge and some hard fouls as, he slams his reasons for choosing not to be of support to the Trayvon Martin case!

Kobe Bryant

As the Black Mamba took hook shots during his New Yorker interview earlier this week with voicing his decision not put his heart into the Trayvon Martin case, so did the streets! Kobe went all in with his reasoning for sitting tight as a one man band when questioned about thoughts on Miami Heat players posing in black hoodies in loving memory of 16 year old Trayvon Martin, shot and killed by a neighborhood watch while unarmed.

Bryant went on during his interview quoting,

“I won’t react to something just because I’m supposed to, because I’m an African-American. That argument doesn’t make any sense to me. So we want to advance as a society and a culture, but, say, if something happens to an African-American we immediately come to his defense? Yet you want to talk about how far we’ve progressed as a society? Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right? So I won’t assert myself.”
Oh, that got the world going something serious! Kobe responds in his defense via Twitter,
“WE can’t further the movement if WE don’t further the movement ourselves. #equality #colorblind embrace our cultures history and how far we’ve come while continuing to take it further #itsonus”

Travon Martin was wronged THATS my opinion and thats what I believe the FACTS showed. The system did not work #myopinion #tweetURthoughts.

I’m a fall back now.. I have a marketing brief to go thru plus I don’t want keyboard warriors catchin feelings #itsjusttwitterdog #vinoout

I don’t really have much to say accept, we as a whole need to look beyond color and stand up for justice! What’s right is right and, what’s wrong is wrong!
