With a star-studded front row full of celebrity royals like Jay Z, Beyonce, Anna Wintour, wife Kim Kardashian, Diddy, Cassie, and Rihanna, Kanye West opened his first successful show at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) today. The show was to debut Kanye‘s new releases with adidas, his collection titled “Yeezy Season 1” and the Yeezy 750 Boost sneakers. The high-top Boost sneakers made waves on social media this week, and the low-tops seem to be doing the same, after sister-in-law Kylie Jenner was spotted rocking them in New York just hours before she appeared in the show, making for her NYFW debut as well!

The Yeezy Boost sneakers will retail at about $350 a pair, with only 9,000 pairs having been manufactured for a Valentine’s day release at the adidas flagship store in New York City. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Kanye says “everyone” will be able to purchase a pair of Yeezys soon, hopefully hinting at a more affordable design. Kanye remains very passionate about his partnership with adidas that grew from a very public fallout with Nike a little more than a year ago. Viewers will note the collection, which is designed in part by adidas Originals, does not feature the familiar adidas stripes or logo. “It was more about using their resources and their technology than it was about using their logo. Did that trip you out to see? What did you think when you saw no logos and sh*t?” Kanye asks reporters.

Lucky ticket holders across the globe got to view the show in its entirety in theaters in exotic locations like Australia, Finland, France, Germany, and the UK. Attendees of the show also included Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Russell Simmons, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, and Alexander Wang.
