Troy Ave is arrested after NYPD video released today shows him being the gunman during last night’s deadly T.I. show at Irving Plaza that resulted in the death of his body guard and injured two more.

According to the NY Daily News, Troy Ave is charged with attempted murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He’s also expected to face a murder charge pending the results of a ballistics test, according to sources.

“He walks right out, women all around, and just starts shooting his gun,” says one officer.

Apparently this senseless incident stems from a beef with Maino, who had just left the stage when shots were fired at a rival of Troy‘s in the greenroom above the stage. Maino, a proud Bed-Stuy man has for some time had issues with Troy Ave, of Brownsville, Brooklyn.

“Bed-Stuy and Brownsville, it’s like mixing oil and water,” one producer said.

Troy Ave was arrested at NYU Langone Medical Center after accidentally shooting himself in the leg during the melee. NYPD released that the fatality was that of Troy‘s bodyguard, Ronald “Edgar” McPhatter.

Rose McPhatter, the mother of the deceased, slammed Troy for not calling to offer his condolences; the two had known each other since Troy, 30, was in middle school. “He actually cared a lot about Troy Ave. My wish is that Troy Ave cared as much about my son as he cared about him. I say that because I watched how my son would always bend over backwards to help him,” Rose said. An apology & condolences were sent by T.I. via Instagram.
