After our dope interview checking out her Philly show at The Foundry this past May, we got to ask Quiñ a few questions for our Fashion In The Streets (F.I.T.S.) segment about her favorite way to get dressed, how she glo’d up after finishing school, and the special person’s closet she wants to raid!

Read below for a quick Q&A with Quiñ, and check out some of our favorite looks of hers in our gallery!

DTS MEDIA: Your style is very cool. Compared to your middle school days to now, how did you used to dress?
Quiñ (Q): When I was growing up, half the time I wore uniforms, which I finally appreciate now. However, back then you only had one day a week to dress however you wanted, which was “Free Dress Fridays.” In the early 2000’s I was a “Baby Phat Princess” with the fresh Air Force Ones one day, then the next day I’d wear shorts and some cowgirl boots. People would be like B, it’s summer time, and I’d be like, “So, I got skinny ankles!”

DTS MEDIA: How would you describe the way you dress now, and select clothing for yourself?
Q: The more I grow, the more I go back to the little girl me who just wants to wear matching sets, fun boots, hats, feathers and play dress-up every day, because that’s just how I feel. I describe my style as “Fantasy Soul”.

DTS MEDIA: Which celebrity’s closet do you want to raid, dead or alive?
Q: The only person’s closet I really want to raid is my mom’s, which I do!
