Eminem dropped his new music video for “Headlights” on Mother’s Day, yesterday (5/11) which was directed by the always-great Spike Lee.

Contrasting with much of Eminem’s earlier material, “Headlights” finds the oft-angry rapper sympathizing with his mother and attempting to see things through her eyes. It’s fitting then that the song’s video is shot as a point of view-style clip, with the viewer seeing things through Mrs. Mathers’ eyes. Nate Ruess of the band Fun. supplies vocals on the track.

Should Spike Lee and Eminem team up for more videos?
