Drake (@Drake) and his producer 40 (@OVO40) talk about a couple tracks off of Drake’s upcoming album “NWTS” (Nothing Was The Same). They sat down with Rolling Stone Magazine to explain a couple of the tracks. One track the give information on is called “Tuscany Leather”, which will be the first track on the album. This track includes a Whitney Houston sample that 40 flipped three different ways. 40 says that Drake is bringing a new style to his third album. “It’s a huge change in tone. Before, Drake was a nice guy. Here, he’s stepping up the attitude and playing hardball,” said 40.

Drake then goes on to say how this album will be by far the best work he has dropped so far. He played the track “Paris Morton Music II” for fellow hip-hop artist J. Cole, and Drake said, “That track excites me from a rap standpoint, just getting off bars and different flows…..I played it for J. Cole, on some rap buddy-buddy sh*t, and he was like, ‘Damn!’”

Drake dropped two songs already that will be on the album. The top-hit of the summer “Started From The Bottom”, and his newer more Take-Care like song “Hold On, We’re Going Home”. He has also announced that his YMCMB brother Lil Wayne, and fellow legend Jay-Z will be featuring on the album. This album has potential to be one of the best of all time.

Above is the trailer to NWTS, released earlier in the summer. Drake receives his Grammy while he is hanging out with his friends. They take shots out of the award, and drake talks about how surreal the moment is. This very highly anticipated album Nothing Was the Same drops September 17th.
