Cross Colours was founded in 1989 by Carl Jones in the streets of South Central LA. Representing diversity, embracing the Hip-Hop movement, and standing by its premise “Clothing Without Prejudice” made Cross Colours sale rates increase within the first couple of years within releasing. Cross Colours has made it a priority to promote the message of education and the end of violence, hence why they were so popular in the artist and celebrity community. Now you all remember watching Will Smith on the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” episodes wearing them color blocked t-shirts, jackets, and jean jumpers right?? Or what about TLC performing in those 4 sizes too big overalls and colored block snap back caps?? I’m here to tell you that was the Cross Colours brand! Other celebrities like Magic Johnson, Stevie Wonder, Run DMC, Snoop Dogg, Muhammad Ali, Jamie Foxx, Mary J Blige, & so many more celebrities supported the Cross Colour movement then and still do to this day. Quite frankly I’m uber excited that they will pick up where they left off by releasing a 2014 collection of original, new, and fresh products to release for their Spring collection. Recognize Cross Colours as the face of diveristy, individuality, and self expression. Follow Cross Colours on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
