Adwoa Aboah is a British/Ghanaian fashion model and feminist activist, who is just scratching the surface of her career! In March 2017, she appeared on the cover of American Vogue with Liu Wen, Ashley Graham, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Imaan Hammam, and Vittoria Ceretti.

This week, Aboah is the latest addition to the increasingly diverse Marc Jacobs Beauty model roster. Although the Marc Jacobs brand has come under fire in the past for racially insensitive/appropriative hairstyles and fashion designs on the runway, Dazed Digital reports that Aboah joins the ranks of past Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign models such as Willow Smith, Winona Ryder and 68-year-old actress Jessica Lange. Aboah’s appearance in the campaign follows last week’s announcement that she has been nominated again for Model of the Year at the 2017 Fashion Awards.

“I am so excited to be the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty,” the model told InStyle. “To have been able to work alongside Marc once again is truly inspirational. His attention to detail is like no other and you see his vision instantly come to life.”
