Andre 3000 is one of the most outspoken artists of our time, having expressed himself in the music industry for over 20 years with groundbreaking, thought-provoking lyrics, and of course, through his choice of fashion. Andre has been seen in some pretty outlandish ‘fits, donning everything from a fuchsia cropped jacket on stage to a rad daishiki-kimono combo, and who could forget 3k‘s straw hat phase?

The more colorful half of Outkast has released his 47 jumpsuit collection this week at Art Basel in Miami on Tuesday (12/2). The collection, titled, “i feel ya: SCAD + André 3000 Benjamin,”  is happening now at The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Museum’s pop-up at Mana Miami, and will remain until December 7th. SCAD filmmaker, Greg Brunkalla, made a short film using Andre’s jumpsuits as subtitles. Check out what Andre had to say about the concept of the jumpsuit designs below, and view all 47 suits at Complex.

“Honestly, just, you know — I didn’t wanna do the tour. We hadn’t performed in 10 years. It was old songs. I’m like, How am I gonna present these songs? I don’t have nothing new to say. So I was like, maybe I can start saying new stuff while doing these old songs. It became a theme where I was more excited about this than the actual show. This is fun, running out in these.”
