For the first time since 1998, the NBA All-Star 2015 game will be played in New York City next February! adidas has revealed the exclusive photos of the brand new 2015 All-Star jerseys. For the new design, adidas ditches the short-sleeve, skin-tight jersey that has become favorable in recent years, going back to the classic vest-styled jersey in simple white and black colorways for the East and , respectively. The jerseys will also feature 5 stars on the side panels, in tribute to the city’s five boroughs.

Queens: a pattern inspired by the stainless steel orbit rings of the borough’s iconic Unisphere that was built for the 1964 World’s Fair at Flushing Meadows – Corona Park

Staten Island: a wave pattern to signify its surrounding waters

Manhattan: a taxi-cab checkered pattern represents the pace and energy of the world’s most cosmopolitan city

The Bronx: a vinyl record pattern to pay homage to the birthplace of hip-hop and the rich musical legacy of New York City

Brooklyn: a brick pattern inspired by the iconic brownstone houses and buildings that make up the neighborhoods of the city’s most populous borough

The jerseys will be available for purchase online & at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue by January 2015, retailing between $80-$110. In the meantime, the All-Star game will be split between Barclays Center & Madison Square Garden from February 13 to 15.
