The 4th Annual SOURCE360 Festival & Conference was held earlier this month in Brooklyn, N.Y. The multi-faceted 2017 confab presented memorable performances and panels including cannabis, policing, technology, the state of hip-hop, visual media, and more. SOURCE360 brings together the local community, artists, business executives, media mavens, performers, and others to further the dialogue around the political significance, social applications, and artistic value of Hip-Hop culture in the most positive and authentic way. In an exclusive conversation with L. Londell McMillan, executive producer of the SOURCE360, were influential business leaders Master P, CEO of No Limit, and Debra Lee, CEO of BET, for the SOURCE360 Master Class Power Talk on Friday at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center. The two inspiring moguls shared jewels of wisdom regarding the evolution of Hip-Hop culture and commerce, painting a vivid picture of their individual journeys to success.

SOURCE360 incorporated the historic arts and culture center of downtown Brooklyn, scheduling opening-day events at the New York registered landmark, Brooklyn Borough Hall.

Artists appearing during SOURCE360 included legends Brand Nubian, Big Daddy Kane, Chubb Rock, Das EFX, and Special Ed; and hot new artists such Casanova, Jay Critch, Phresher, Quadir Lateef, Axel Leon, Nitty Scott MC, Donshea Hopkins, and Kyla Imani; Latino artists Mr. Paradise and Melly Mel.
